I've never before worked in a place that had graffiti on the bathroom walls, but this one does.
"How we spend our days," I read as I sit, "is, of course, how we spend our lives." Annie Dillard said it, possibly in The Writing Life. It's a beautiful wall. The woman who did it spends her days making walls beautiful, and those days add up to a life creating beautiful spaces for people to live and work in. We don't all have lots of choices in how we spend our days, but all of us have some choice. Choose wisely, when you can.
