All I need to know I learned by watching tv (not)

My mail carrier once told me that he'd figured out there were only three things you needed to know to be a therapist, and he got this from watching tv.

1. Mm-hmm.
2. Tell me more.
3. How do you feel about that?

I only wish it were that simple.
